We are excited to invite you to participate in the First Math workshop of CityU and the University of Edinburgh, hosted by the Liu Bie Ju Centre for Mathematical Sciences at City University of Hong Kong. This premier event will take place from May 19-21, 2025. 

The workshop aims to foster collaboration between faculty members of the University of Edinburgh and CityU by promoting joint research projects and interdisciplinary partnerships. It will provide a platform for exchanging innovative ideas and presenting recent research findings, while also creating networking opportunities for establishing professional relationships. Additionally, the workshop seeks to explore the exchange of Ph.D. students and Post-Docs, enhancing their academic experience. Ultimately, the event aims to strengthen institutional ties, laying the groundwork for future collaborative initiatives in the field of mathematics
